SPIN

‘Spin has been in the lexicon of politics for about forty years and part of the art scene since the 90’s but in 2025 it is our collective point of view on view with mercurial abstracts showcasing multiple layers evolving into sublime portrayals of ‘Processing the Process’ and ‘Thanks for the silence” and a spinning Charlie Brown who engages the simple element of joy, joined by a floppy disc creation of an astronaut in space which in some ways is the ultimate spin.  Major Tom to Ground Control.   

Adding to the curation are multiple spray paint works spinning cool narratives, lyrics spun into figurative iconic creations and city street paintings that move with such intensity it is as if your head is spinning.  In all the right ways.  Our Spin exhibit is a celebration of energy and a defiance of the inert.  Spin is also described as ‘a brief trip in a vehicle for pleasure’.  For the holiday season let’s define that vehicle as The White Room Gallery.’
